Heather's Bio

Heather

I'm Heather the Bookworm, and I reside in the sunny state of Arizona. I'm married with no children, which provides me with an extra slice of time in my day to devote to my favorite passtime - reading books! I am a woman of simple pleasures like coffee shops, bookstores, libraries and parks, and to add a little spice, Chipotle.

I'm short, nerdy and blond - which I consider to be the perfect combination of smart, witty and bookish - and my blonde hair gives me an excuse for the occasional faux pas. So far, it’s working for me. I live a happy and fulfilling life - and it's full of good books!

I also enjoy sharing about my faith and reading books on other's journeys to discovering Christ.

Hey, this is Mia and I have to admit, I'm prejudiced here. I first met Heather when she contacted me after buying my book from a bookstore in Arizona, after which she posted a 5-star review on Google Goodreads. We started talking, I started following her Google Goodreads book reviews, and a friendship was born. Now we are fortunate enough to have Heather available to read and review books for us, too.

Welcome to 100GKU, Heather!

My name is Heather, and I'm a dedicated bookworm - hence the name of my Campus Coach Page. I'm a bookaholic who was born and raised in a home that considered reading enjoyable and not torture, which gave root to my lifelong devotion to the written word.

best selling books reviews

I must confess, my top 5 favorite genres to delve into are young adult, suspense, autobiographies, outside-the-box Christian titles, and books on World War II.

That said, I read a broad range of books that cross all genres, from self-help and inspiration to (dare I admit it) some with a little romance going on. What can I say? I love books!

best books to read

I love the warm weather in my home state of Arizona, but I also crave greenery. This presents a conundrum since Arizona is hot and dry most of the time; for most of the year, greenery is generally limited to golf courses and luxury hotels. But for that brief shining moment every summer when the monsoons arrive, despite the downing of trees and the occasional flying lawn chair, everything turns green.

I love to read, of course, and I love sharing and getting recommendations from others. If you have a book you'd like me to review, please leave a comment and I'll see what I can do. I look forward to sharing my passion for books and reading with you!
